1. FabFitFun Box

Subscription boxes are usually full of all types of goodies you’ve been eager to try, but too afraid to splurge on. Show the caregiver in your life that they are worth the splurge. Here is one of my favorite subscription boxes.

Fab Fit Fun box is a seasonal subscription box that offers 8-10 full-sized premium products, worth more than $200, for the caregiver in your life to pamper herself. They are fully customizable.  So, you can just make the selections and send the gift box or just purchase a gift certificate and allow her to customize the box to her preferences.

2. Meal Kit Subscription Services

After working and providing care for other humans all day, the last thing you want to do is a meal plan, grocery shop, and prep everything. Meal kit services take out the guesswork. You simply select your meals and all of the fresh ingredients arrive at your door.  All of the heavy lifting is done for you.

There are now several companies that offer these services. I’ve listed the top 3 services below and they all come with awesome incentives.

Hello Fresh offers 8 free meals to new subscribers.

Home Chef offers an $80 off voucher for new subscribers

Blue Apron offers a $60 off voucher for new subscribers.

3. Spa day

Need I say more. Who doesn’t need a spa day? A day to be pampered and not have to worry about meeting anyone else’s needs.  When being a caregiver, self-care is critical and this is the perfect gift to encourage that.  Spa Finder Wellness 365 partners with thousands of spas nationwide and gives the flexibility of choosing the best spa near you.

If the caregiver in your life, can’t get away, consider bringing the spa to them. Here are some gifts to help them relax and unwind at home.

4. Audible

I’m an audible subscriber, but I’ll admit, at first I wasn’t sold on it. I wanted the experience of looking at the pages as I was being read to, but then I realized that I truly don’t have the time to look at the pages anyway. I’m a busy homeschool mom of 3, with a demanding job outside of the home as well. Audible allows me to escape into intriguing stories on my commute to work or brush up on skills, with earbuds in while I clean. A subscription to audible may just be the mental getaway the caregiver in your life needs. With each subscription, you receive 2 free downloads per month and free access to a huge library of Audible originals.

5. Groupon

Who doesn’t love Groupon? If you are not familiar with Groupon, it is a service that allows you to make purchases with virtual coupons at DEEP discounts. The beauty of giving a Groupon gift certificate for a gift is versatility.  With Groupon you can essentially gift a spa day, food, tickets to the theatre or concert, and the list goes on.

6. Instant Pot

I know this gift is practical, but it’s also magical. I’ll admit I was a little intimidated by the Instant Pot initially. I borrowed my mother’s to see if I would actually like it first. The first time I released the pressure valve, I felt like I needed to run for cover.

So, there’s a little bit of a learning curve, but this 7-in-1 gadget can be a caregiver’s dream, when their plate is full and the last thing they want to do is stand at the stove and cook.  It is a

  • Pressure cooker
  • Slow cooker
  • Rice cooker
  • Yogurt maker
  • Warmer
  • Sauté

7. IOU

A redeemable I owe you a “me-day” may just be the best and most inexpensive gift you can give a caregiver this season. Don’t just give a vague promise. Give specific dates and times that you will be available to relieve them of their usual caregiver duties.

8. Amazon Prime Membership

Now, I’m not sure if there is anyone left on the planet who isn’t already an Amazon Prime Member, but if not, consider gifting one.
